Underage Drinking Crimes Defense

Underage drinking is a crime that is prosecuted aggressively in the State of Utah. Don’t let a conviction tarnish your future, prohibit you from participation in school activities, or exclude you from pursuing the college of your choice.

Under Utah Code Ann. Section 32B-4-409: “A minor in Utah may not buy (or attempt to buy, or ask an adult to buy), possess, or consume alcohol; or knowingly misrepresent a minor’s or someone else’s age to obtain alcohol.”

The penalties for violating this statue can be quite severe, including, but not limited to, suspension of your driver’s license, conviction of a misdemeanor, thousands of dollars in penalties, and up to one year in jail.

If you have been accused of underage drinking or know someone who has, you only get one chance to put up a strong defense, make it count.
